And it is doing something the whole time you are in it through light, air, water, materials, temperature, sound, the way the room is laid out, and the fields that run through all of it.
All of that shapes what a space is and how it is perceived, and what it is like to be there. Some rooms hold together. Others do not, and most people notice the difference without being able to explain it. What separates them is not the elements themselves but what happens between them: whether the interaction is coherent, or whether it is not.
magma13 Regenerative Space works on that coherence. It works on the room, and you experience it the way you always experience a room: the same reason a house by the sea or a room in the mountains is a different place to spend an afternoon in.

magma13 Regenerative Space is a Swiss-engineered, patent-pending ambient technology built on MGA-FCR, our own framework. Modulated Geomagnetic Ambience is the model; Functional Coherent Response is the hypothesised principle underneath it. The framework is currently under experimental validation.
When we say regenerative, we mean the space, and specifically its coherence. How the elements of a room work together, what that does to its atmosphere, and what it is like to spend a day there.
magma13 brings together structured materials, environmental measurement and spatial design. It works passively and non-invasively, and is designed to contribute to the quality of a space, indoors and in outdoor settings for the formats specified for them: calmer, more cohesive, more naturally balanced.
magma13 itself draws no power. It integrates discreetly into homes, hotels, offices, spas, wellness centres, public spaces and selected outdoor settings, as a single ambient system.
What a Regenerative Space is made of
A Regenerative Space is not one object. It is several dimensions, combined at whatever scale the project calls for, from a single room to a whole building.
AMBIENT COHERENCE: The core. magma13 structured materials interacting passively with the conditions already present in a room, designed to support its perceived order and balance.
ADVANCED AMBIENT COHERENCE: The same principle at a higher level of integration, from a single room to a whole property.
NEAR-FIELD AMBIENT COMFORT: Configurations for the places people spend longest: a bed, a desk, a chair. In selected installations these include grounding-related elements designed to reduce measurable body voltage, when correctly connected to an approved ground or ESD bonding point. Body voltage is an electrical parameter, recorded during the technical assessment.
CLEAN POWER INTEGRITY: Every modern building carries high-frequency disturbance on its electrical lines. magma13 passive filters are designed to attenuate selected conducted high-frequency disturbances on the connected line, within the limits of the filter’s passive architecture and the installation context. We measure clean power quality before and after.
VITAL ELEMENTS: Water, air, light, materials and spatial factors, treated as part of the environmental quality of a space rather than as separate trades.
Not every project needs all of them. Most start with one or two.

How a space gets assessed
Measured parameters, before anything is specified
On Regenerative Space and Premier projects, the environment is assessed before anything is specified. A proprietary SOLS protocol and algorithm evaluate thirteen environmental parameters measured on site. The assessment documents the conditions in the space and informs the design. It is not a health assessment.
Depending on the project, this may include:

From these we build the SOLS Coherence Index, our own parameter for environmental coherence, based on entropy-of-information analysis and other measurements taken during the assessment. This is the part that separates a designed environment from a decorated one.
